Body Check: Twelve (Thirteen?) Weeks
Little Baby X is about the length of a shrimp now… almost 3 inches long. My last ultrasound put my due date at 01/01/10, which means I’m 13 weeks pregnant and just days away from being out of this first trimester. It’s probably too difficult to estimate accurately, but according to this calculator, we’re looking at this baby costing us about $10,000. This little bugger is going to be expensive!
The Baby Room
Tom and I have started the “baby room” discussion. We know we’d like to keep the color of the walls purple, but other than that, we are pretty open. We like the idea of something that is classic and elegant… and also something that is going to last a few years (not overly baby).
We’ve toyed with the idea of turning the room into even more of a Labyrinth...

Is it unreasonable that I am almost more terrified of breastfeeding then I am of giving birth? Ever since one of my friends mentioned to me how sore and cracked her nipples were after the first month or so of breastfeeding, a little light inside my head clicked on. Wow, breastfeeding can actually be painful.
