Now Entering Parenthood...

Congratulations, it’s a baby!! Little Strickland X is a healthy baby ______ (to be filled in later) coming in just under 5 cm right now, around 4.7.  So about the size of a a lime.  The doc wasn’t able to hear a heartbeat, so we got sent in for an ultrasound, and they were able to measure the little guy’s fast (160 bpm) heartbeat.  He/she was moving around quite a bit, a lot of squirming and even a few hiccups.  Once I was able to empty my overly full bladder he/she settled down, and leaned back resting with legs crossed Indian style.  It was incredibly fun to see :)
